War...A Soldiers Shout.

The loss of happiness, the set of gloom
these tell you the ushering of doom.

Death is barging through the door,
taking anyone new or from before.

All because of some fight over some land
or what one worships with folded hands.

The grim reaper appears ready for his job,
he fails to see the families sob.

The leaders decide when its time,
to them the personal effect is not worth  dime.

Children still exploring the world,
into the battlefield they are hurled.

Soldiers still in their active prime
maimed and injured, their life is now a mime.

To see the fall of friends and "foes"
each death a horror dose.

A polite request i ask of you,
do not honour war the way you do.

impressive is the fact they sacraficed their lives,
useless the need for such a sacrafice.

Respect the people departed in their death before time.
Make sure humanity never again falls to this grime.

Do not tell them its their job to die,
even they will tell you, "Sir you lie."
My job is defending the country, not dying like a lamb,
protecting the country till the extent i can.

"I wont mind walking in the blaze,
but, you i fear cannot see beyond the 'glory' haze"

If yoou see, you will observe the reality, the truth,
War is not necessary for survival of me and you.

It is on Judgement Day,
when God asks me"Where do you want to go?"
I will say to the almighty, "Give me one last chance,
to destroy the sorrow of present and past."

I shall then with my bare hands
destroy War, as painfully as i can.

Perspective

For a long time i was ridden with this nagging feeling about what to write why to write and how to right...
but today i took that leap, and went ahead with a random topic that just came to me!

I see what you don't.

Today during my auto ride to college I witnessed a rickshaw driver accidently hit an Indica when former was trying to negotiate through a small space.Sadly the impact was enough to ignite the middle aged guy's temper to such an extent that he came out of his car  and started to try to land a blow on the rickshaw driver.(Hooliganism much?)
It is here that my auto driver, slightly old, totally bald and i am sure who was fleecing me :/ uttered a comment  "Arre, ameer apna gussa gareeb pe hi nikalta hai".
It made me think, how is it that we just allow random events passing us by and we use them to make our own judgements about life and the people who we would have never met before and some whom we may never meet again.
Is it really a good idea to just think like this?

If instead we change our perspective and perhaps try to question it from a more objective point of view i think it does make a difference. Most probably it clears our own sense of being and perception by introducing us to aspects of people and society from a whole different point of view.Even if it is a stray comment nevertheless, it is for certain it will linger with everyone who heard it, forming a preset notion.

Perhaps instead of generalising society or people we might actually appreciate individuality as a talent.Otherwise i feel for the society, the individual will cease to exist.

Perhaps i myself am ironically being judgemental by talking like this, but then again that will be decided only by what the readers think of this (which in turn would be them judging). Its all too complex.
Why not just uncomplicate things and try to keep them simpler.
As it life has enough things to make us worry about ourselves. Why think so much about the other??

Look for anything in the world, and you wont be dissapointed....good,bad or anything in between. Its just a matter of PERSPECTIVE .
